Hi! I am an experienced tutor, with a focus in working with kids who have difficulties with English, Reading, Spelling and Writing. I am also certified as a tutor through the Palm Beach County School Board. My approach with your child will be to help them learn by understanding, not memorizing. My background is in child psychology, and my strengths are in subjects related to English and Writing. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University Cum Laude in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I am currently finishing my Masters in Education, and have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout graduate school. I am currently an English tutor in Delray for elementary, middle, and high school students. I recently entered the FAU Business Plan Competition and was chosen as a Top 8 finalist to appear in front of venture capitalists, angel investors, and prominent business people within the community. I was a member of the Golden Key International Honors Society and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars throughout college. I have also been a competitive pianist and participating member of the National Piano Guild. I have spent many years working with children and have the ability to relate well to them and explore ways to make learning fun.I intend to structure tutoring sessions in a way that will build self esteem and highlight your child's strengths. I believe that kids learn best when they are excited about the process and decide that THEY can create their own success.

I grew up in Boca Raton, Florida and I recently celebrated my one year wedding anniversary. My husband is a private chef and I have spent the last 8 years learning how to cook. I have used the skills that I have acquired to create healthy meals and teach others to do the same. Additionally, I am a very active individual and enjoy sports very much. I love to mountain bike, surf and swim. I enjoy the beach and spend a great deal of time in the ocean. It is important to me to stay healthy, and to teach the children that I influence, to stay active and enjoy the outdoors.
