AS Physics BA Math (Marist College) MBA (Marist College) MEd (Secondary Math) (WGU) I have earned undergraduate degrees in Math and Physics. I began my career as an actuarial analyst and consultant and have completed several of the SOA exams. I shifted careers and worked for a number of years in Corporate Finance, Software Development, Business Operations , Brand Management and Executive Management at IBM. During that time I also earned a MBA from Marist College. I then pursued my passion for Math and a desire to help others and earned my Masters in Secondary Education (Math). I taught College Elementary Statistics (in a high school setting) College Pre-Calculus/Calculus I (in a high school setting) and Common Core Math Grade 7-12
Experience
I have been a TA in Physics and Calculus while in College. I have taught SAT prep for Princeton Review and also taught SAT prep independently to local high school students I have experience teaching and tutoring College Pre-Calculus , Calculus I and Elementary Statistics I am NYS (and Florida pending) certified to teach common core secondary math (7-12) but also will tutor elementary math as well.

Hobbies
I have a great passion for Math and Science. My interest began in high school and seeing a video of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge oscillating and eventually collapsing! I believe that studying and appreciating Math is something that all students can achieve. I am interested in a helping all students access math and strive to present math concepts in multiple ways so as to enable success and understanding of all students. I also enjoy drawing, photography, yoga and biking. I am a certified yoga instructor and can also help students that experience math anxiety.
