My educational background is in Special Education and I specialize in teaching students with Autism. I have taught a wide variety of children with diverse abilities including ADD, ADHD, Learning Disabled, and those with other Intellectual disabilities.In addition, I have tutored at both a tutoring center and privately. The primary population I have worked with is elementary age mainly in the areas of reading, math, and writing. As a teacher of children with Autism, I believe that 1-1 instruction is very beneficial for students who are struggling academically. Individualized instruction is essential to meet each student's specific learning needs and goals. Tutoring is something that I truly enjoy. It is my goal to make learning more enjoyable and successful for children! Being a teacher is my passion and I would not trade my career for anything!
