Whether a student is passionate about writing or hates it, I am thrilled to share with them the excitement that writing can bring, as well as the utility of being able to express oneself coherently through language. It's the key to communication- from text messages to formal essays- we could always express ourselves more clearly. I am passionate about the English language, and languages in general, which has led me into a great deal of reading, writing, and formal study of both. Because of this, I have come to learn many useful reading strategies, as well as writing strategies for invention of ideas, revision, and proofreading. In terms of the technical aspects of writing, I have developed a wide vocabulary with a strong sense of grammar and am happy to help build students' own English skills.
